File Associations

MailDex can be set as the default Windows software application for supported email file types. Users can access File Associations settings from the File > File Associations menu.

The File associations dialog contains global application settings.

MailDex can be set as a default application to open MSG, EML, PST MBOX, and OST files. File associations can also be set using the standard Windows file association window.

Please note, Windows will not allow MailDex to  "un-associate" itself with file types.

If you later decide to associate a different application with a file type that MailDex is associated with, you must do this from the Windows 10 "Default App" settings.
